Northern, RI – Whether soft and furry or covered in scales, your pet can be a star this Halloween with a contest designed to bring out your creativity while raising funds to benefit a local animal shelter.
NRI NOW is now accepting entries in the Howl-O-Ween, Meowl-O-Ween & Every Pet In-Bat-Ween Pet Costume Contest. We already have photos submitted by the owners of some of northern Rhode Island’s four-legged elite dressed in their seasonal best, but there’s room for many more… and prizes to be won.
We’ve published a special page to feature the photos and information related to the contest here including a poster suitable for printing and sharing here. And thanks to some awesome sponsors, we’re now ready to announce the prizes.
For our third place winner we have a $25 gift certificate to Gator’s Pub in North Smithfield. Swing by the bar to catch a game, or stop in to try some their tasty appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, dinners and drinks.
The second place winner will receive a $50 gift card to New Rhodes Nutrition at Broncos Crossing Plaza, offering healthy shakes, energizing teas, protein lattes and all-around good vibes.
And for the owner of the pet who charms our readers, winning votes with the funniest, scariest or most creative Halloween get-up, we have a basket of goodies from Dragonfly Apothecary in Chepachet in keeping with the season, including Tarot cards, Go Away Evil herbal oil, Fairy Dust, sage sticks and more, – plus a $25 gift certificate to Fairy Tails Dog Grooming at Slatersville Plaza.
