BURRILLVILLE – The Buckleupallofus car show season starts this week with the 2024 seasonal launch of area cruise nights here in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The very first cruise night takes place at A&W, located on Route 44, in Greenville on Tuesday, April, 16, from 5 p.m. until dark. The following cruise night is at Frederickson Farms plaza, located on Route 102, in North Scituate on Wednesday, April, 17, at 5 p.m. until dark. The car show is in the big field adjacent to the plaza on the left-hand side as you enter the driveway and parking lot. Arrive early if you are showcasing a hot rod, muscle car or classic car and truck, because this particular automotive event fills up quickly every week.
The third cruise night launching during this week’s car show season takes place at Bass Pro Shops and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. This bi-weekly cruise night attracts hundreds of beautiful classic cars and trucks, along with thousands of spectators set up on a huge parking lot facing the stadium and Patriots Plaza. It’s the largest ongoing cruise night in the region. Classics are on display as far as your eyes can see. Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer is the DJ for all three of these popular venues.
The Tri-State Cruisers car club launch their 31st annual weekly cruise nights on Saturday, April, 27, at 4 p.m. until dark. This automotive event is hosted by Pizza 101, located in Pomfret, Conn.. The DJ who will be playing oldies is Dick Salvas, the president and co-founder of the classic car and truck club.
This week’s Sunday feature has a coloring cartoon with Buckleupallofus reminding kids to boost up and buckle up for safety. Bucky’s slogan is; “Don’t become extinct, always buckle up.” Child passenger safety is very important. Make sure children are properly restrained in backseats and make sure infants are safely secured in rear-facing car seats.
