School vacation
Anyone looking for free activities to do during February vacation is reminded that Burrillville Middle School and elementary school students can use their Feinstein Foundation Junior Scholar card to do a variety of activities throughout the state. Integrity forum
Sen. Jessica de la Cruz will host Secretary of State Greg Amore at the Assembly Theatre at 26 East Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 24 for an Election Integrity Forum from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Drop in to learn about the security and integrity of the voting system in Rhode Island.
Dune movie night
The Assembly Theatre will host Dune movie night on Saturday, Feb. 24, with a showing of David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation of of Frank Herbert’s 1965 classic novel, “Dune.” Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show, and there will be concessions and a bar available. Admission is $10 at the door.
Winter clinic
Burrillville Girls Softball will hold a five week winter clinic on Thursday nights beginning February 29 at Burrillville Middle School.
