BURRILLVILLE – February is coming to an end and so is Buckleupallofus Cross Your Heart Month for 2024.
The best part about February coming to an end is the realization that we are much closer to the start of the cruisin’ season here in Rhode Island and across the region. This week’s coloring cartoon features some cool hot rods and Buckleupallofus cartoon characters reminding kids to boost up and buckle up in backseats when going for a ride.
Child passenger safety is very important and only consistent messaging can help keep infants and children out of area hospitals if they are involved with a vehicle crash. If they are properly restrained in the backseat of any vehicle their chance of survival is much greater than if they are not properly restrained. These safety measures also help reduce unintended injuries for infants and children.
We are just weeks away from our first car shows and community events. Buckleupallofus giant balloon showcase attraction has been invited by Burrillville Parks and Recreation Department to attend an annual community event in Burrillville on Saturday, March 16, weather permitting. This annual event attracts nearly a thousand kids and adults from across northern Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts communities every year. Bucky child passenger safety items will be available for kids and adults to take home with them during the event. Watch for more details over the next few weeks.
