Storm trash
The Department of Public Works has announced that there will be no trash or recycling pickup on Monday, Jan. 8 due to the snow storm. Pickup will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

Learn to Skate
Registration is now open for the Burrillville Junior Hockey League’s Learn to Skate program, with nine week sessions to be held Saturdays and Sundays beginning January 27. The program costs $100 per session or $180 for both. Read more about the program here or register at bjhl.org/learn2skate.

Couple’s Prime Rib
The Townsmen Club in Mapleville will hold a Couple’s Prime Rib dinner on Saturday, Jan. 13 starting at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per person and tickets are available at Chum’s Hardware and Champs Liquors.
