The class is now working with Shoes with Heart collecting gently worn, used and new shoes to supply to impoverished countries like Haiti, while promoting micro-entrepreneurship in countries that need assistance and reducing landfill waste. All styles and sizes, adult and children are accepted.

Donations bins are available at the Jessie Smith Library, New Rhode Nutrition, Anytime Fitness, Burrillville High School, and the Burrillville Farmers Market through mid-October. Shoes will also be collected at the Burrillville Arts Festival on September 16-17.
