Patio open

Assados Kitchen & Bar at 102 Putnam Pike opened a new area for outdoor seating this week, revealing a renovated covered outdoor bar and patio to guests on Saturday, August 26. The business, which opened January in the former Harmony Lodge building, now has hours Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. through 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

15,000 riders

Harmony Products at 474 Putnam Pike hit a business milestone over the weekend, giving a train ride to its 15,000th visitor since the business first opened in 2020. The business will be closed over Labor Day weekend starting Friday, Sept. 1 and will reopen on Friday, Sept. 8.

Back-to-school

Closing

RIde Spin Studio at 15 Money Hill Road has announced that it will be closing its doors, effective Thursday, Sept. 14. Those interested in purchasing items or equipment are advised to contact the business via social media.

Town meetings

The Glocester Recreation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, August 29 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
