School supply drive

Century 21 Limitless in Chepachet is holding a school supply drive this week, collecting pens, colored pencils, notebooks, Kleenex packages, small bottles of hand sanitizer and school snacks at the business at 1160 Putnam Pike to fill up 50 backpacks. Most donations can be dropped through the mail slot on the door, or visit with Ziggy – seen above – and agent Carla Zimmerman when the office is open.

Food drive

Reichert & Sons Fuel Oil has stepped up to help increase donations to the Glocester Food Bank and is giving out full 20 pound grill propane tanks to anyone who makes a food donation of $5 or more. Those who would like to participate must bring their old propane tank when dropping off the donation. The donation bin is located in the lobby of the business at 12 Money Hill Road in Chepachet.

This offer runs through Friday, August 18, and the office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
