Congratulations to Ponaganset High School graduate Jacob Joyce on being chosen as one of 10 wrestlers to join the team at Stanford University in California this fall. Joyce, who was captain of the PHS wrestling team from 2021-2023, was a four-year letter winner and three-time state champion. He was a two-time New England champion; the 2023 Eastern States champion; the 2023 Super 32 All-American and was named the 2022 Rhode Island Coaches Association Wrestler of the Year.

The Matt Gentry Head Wrestling Coach Rob Koll and his staff announced the additions last week, with a long list of additional accolades found here.
