GLOCESTER – The Glocester Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for his alleged involvement in a series of crimes, including motor vehicle theft and multiple break-ins.

Police are looking for a white male with a right arm that is heavily tattooed, who they say may be riding a stolen blue ATV. The suspect’s last known location was at the dead end side of Old Snake Hill Road, where officers say he committed a B & E and then escaped into the woods on the stolen vehicle.

Police spent around three hours searching the woods in the area of Routes 44 and 94 last week for the same man.

“Despite extensive efforts, the suspect remains at large, and we are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward,” the department noted. “We believe he may be moving within the woods of our community or may have sought refuge in neighboring areas.”

The department said that given, “the severity and frequency of the crimes,” it is, crucial to locate the individual promptly, “to ensure the safety and security of our community.”

Police reminded residents to remain vigilant and take appropriate precautions to safeguard their property by locking vehicles, securing homes, and reporting any suspicious activities.

Anyone with information is asked to call (401) 568-2533, or dial 911 if it’s an emergency.
