School bus, car collide Thursday morning in North Smithfield

NORTH SMITHFIELD – No children were injured in a reported accident Thursday morning involving a collision between a car and a school bus.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 14 on Saint Paul Street.

Only three students were on the bus at the time, according to reports, and none were injured.

The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is reportedly under investigation.

  1. I never understood why car’s can go over 80 MPH when there isn’t a street sign that says more than 80 MPH. Never understood it.

  2. People drive way too fast on that street. I lived in the house across from where this happend for 30 years and there were more close calls that one could only imagine. Many a nights we would be woken up with the sounds of the guard rail changing color ! People need to slow down !
