BURRILLVILLE/NORTH SMITHFIELD – The weather is finally set to improve this weekend, with warm temps and sunshine Saturday and Sunday, and plenty to do right here in northern Rhode Island.

Get outside and enjoy it on Saturday with a fun family day to support Burrillville Little League at their Craft and Vendor Fair. You can pick up unique gifts for mom at the event, and swing by the Spring Artisan Fair at the Beef Barn in North Smithfield for even more options. Swing by Brigido’s Fresh Market while you’re out to support Frehill Council of Knights of Columbus annual Tootsie Roll Drive.

On Saturday night, support your local firefighters with a dinner and comedy show for North Smithfield Local 3984.

The Downtown Pascoag & Neighborhood Association will also give you a chance to celebrate mom early this weekend with their annual Mother’s Day Stroll.

Don’t forget: Friday night is Cinco de Mayo, and local bars and restaurants will offer plenty of ways to celebrate with live music, specials and more.

However you spend your time, we hope you enjoy it, and consider “keeping it local,” with these great venues and organizations.
