Free CPR training

Editor’s note: The below event, originally listed in this article, has since been cancelled.

Menard CPR and local AHA CPR/AED instructors will offer free “Hands-Only” CPR/AED training, open to North Smithfield residents to be held Thursday, March 30 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Parish Bingo hall at 1409 Park Ave. No reservation is required for the walk-in program.

Instructors will donate their time and teaching skills for the benefit of the public in supporting this American Heart Association standards program and its important mission to increase survival from cardiac arrest. Members of the community are asked to take time to learn the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR/AED, “changing by-standers into by-doers.”
