Financial meeting
The Foster/Glocester Regional School District’s 65th annual financial meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at Ponaganset High School at 137 Anan Wade Road. You must be a registered Glocester voter to cast a ballot on the budget to be presented. The agenda for the meeting can be found here.
Spirit Oracle
The Hen House at 1189 Putnam Pike will host Soulflower Plant Spirit Oracle on Thursday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m, a chance to learn how to interpret what nature is trying to communicate to you. Learn how to use a beautiful Soulflower cards created by Lisa Estabrook to unlock powerful messages that can move your life in an amazing way. Hear how the language of flowers and plants can brighten any day.
The cost is $35 per person, and cards and workbooks will be available for purchase. Signup at the counter of the business or by emailing henhouseonmain@gmail.com.
Movie night
Glocester Manton Free Public Library will host a movie night on Friday, March 24 at the library at 1137 Putnam Pike. All are invited to the library’s showing of Disney’s Strange World starting at 5 p.m.
While you’re there, check out the library’s Baubles & Bling Fundraiser, with all items for sale for $20. The fundraiser will run through Mother’s Day.
Comedy show
The Glocester Heritage Society and Chepachet Grange will host a comedy show on Saturday, March 25 with Dave Kane’s Jokes My Irish Father Told Me. The show will take place at the Grange at 28 Chopmist Hill Road with doors to open at 6 p.m. for the performance at 7 p.m. The event will feature light refreshments, raffles and door prizes.
