Two for the Road will offer live music at Elayna's Saturday night.

Northern, RI – It’s a long weekend for many with President’s Day on Monday, and there are plenty of great things happening in our small towns in northern Rhode Island.

Welcome to The Weekend, our roundup of all the entertainment you can find in a three-town radius, one day early this week so you can get a jump-start on the fun.

This week, show off your talent with an audition for AssemGlee on Thursday, or hit up Trivia Night at Bravo Brewing Company.

There are two free, guided hikes to choose from on Saturday, and plenty of time afterwards to swing by “Betty’s Boutique,” a popup shop featuring snarky, witty and dark-humored clothing and gifts created by North Smithfield resident Heather Cardone. At night, check out Two for the Road at Burrillville’s newest bar, Elayna’s, or catch The Northern Pike at Spritzer’s Bar.

Of course, however you spend your time, we hope you make the most of the weekend, and that you get a chance to visit some of our great local venues.
