Covid test kits
The town of Burrillville has a limited number of free COVID-19 test kits, now available at municipal buildings, Jesse Smith Memorial Library, and the Harrisville, Oakland Mapleville and Pascoag fire stations. The town will distribute one kit containing five rapid tests to each person.

After school multi-sport
The Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department is sponsoring an after school multi-sport program at both Steere Farm and Callahan Elementary Schools starting this week, open to boys and girls in 2nd through 5th grades.
At Callahan, sessions will be held on Wednesdays, Jan. 25; Feb. 1, 8 and 15; and March 1 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. and the cost is $43 for five weeks. The Steere Farm program will be held on Thursdays, Jan. 26; Feb. 2, 9 and 16; and March 2 and 9 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. and the cost is $51 for six weeks.

Blood drive
The Knights of Columbus Council 383 will host a blood drive in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church parish hall at 45 Harrisville Main St. on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 1 to 7 p.m. Donations can be made by appointment by visiting ribc.org/drives using sponsor code 0675. Walk in donations will be accepted if availability permits at time of arrival.
BINGO
St. Joseph’s Church at 183 Sayles Ave. in Pascoag will host BINGO in the church hall on Friday, Jan. 27 from 6-8:30 p.m. A $10 admission includes 12 games, with cash prizes to be awarded. Food, beverages and baked goods will be available for purchase, along with dabbers and additional cards as requested.

The Burrillville Sewer Commission will hold a special meeting on Monday, Jan. 23 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Wastwater Treatment Facility at 141 Clear River Drive.
The Burrillville Redevelopment Agency will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24 starting at 7 p.m. in the community room of Jesse Smith Memorial Library at 100 Tinkham Lane. The agenda is here.
