BURRILLVILLE – It’s the holiday season and with that comes house and apartment Christmas trees, decorations and lighting displays.

It is very important that at this time of year we take extra precautions to make sure our families stay safe, especially, when it comes to little kids. The added holiday displays also add a new level of safety concerns in our homes. This Sunday’s feature includes a Fearless Dino Protector Squad Holiday Fire Safety & Burn Prevention coloring cartoon that puts a focus on a few of those holiday season hazards.

Kids should be taught to not play with extension cords, lights and decorations. This could help keep them safer while avoiding unintended burns and electric shock until these holiday decorations are removed for another year. Utilizing this week’s holiday fire safety and burn prevention coloring cartoon as a way to open up discussions about safety can help keep them and your family safer. Kids are inquisitive and attracted to these holiday decorations, but are unaware of the hazards that also come with them.

Christmas is here. Print out this child safety coloring cartoon, grab a box of crayons and colored markers or colored pencils, and sit down with your kids to color and talk about their safety to help prevent injuries. An added safety measure would be to take the finished safety coloring cartoon and display it on the family refrigerator for the entire family to see every time they enter the kitchen area or take something from the refrigerator. Kids love to display their artwork and coloring pages on refrigerators for the family to view. This also happens to be a great display location to help remind family and friends about their safety all year long. Kids take great pride in showcasing their artwork and coloring cartoons on the family refrigerator. Anyone with kids knows this to be a fact and more than likely has some of these Sunday features kids safety coloring cartoons already on display on their refrigerator right now.

Have a happy and safe holiday season everyone!
