Harmony Products is now offering Holiday Lights train rides.

Northern, RI – It’s the first day of December, so it’s only fitting that across northern Rhode Island, holiday festivities have begun.

Welcome to The Weekend, northern Rhode Island, our weekly guide to all the events and venues you can find in a three-town radius, started a day early so you don’t miss any of the fun.

This week, all three of our northern Rhode Island towns will kick off the holiday season with tree-lighting ceremonies, visits from Santa, shopping events and of course – holiday bazaars. We’ve got seven listed for Saturday… can you hit them all?

Catch a Christmas parade on Sunday, or get in the holiday spirt with a free concert.

It’s all close to home, saving you time and money, while helping our small businesses and organizations get the attention they deserve.

As always, however you spend your time, we hope you enjoy it – and your holiday season – and that you make your way to these great, local events and venues.
