Burrillville police investigate gas station/convenience store break in

BURRILLVILLE – Burrillville police are currently investigating the overnight break in of a gas station and convenience store.

The North Country Store Sunoco at 172 Chapel St. had a break in some time between Friday night when the business closed at 10 p.m., and the next morning, when they opened at 6 a.m., according to police, who were called to the scene on Saturday, Nov. 19.

“The store was being opened by employees when they observed a break had occurred,” said Burrillville Police Major Albert Carlow. “They contacted police immediately.”

“Officers responded to the call and are currently investigating the matter,” Carlow said.
