Tacos for Steere Farm
The Taco Shop at 459 Chapel St. will hold a fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 18 to benefit the Steere Farm Elementary School PTA. Ten percent of proceeds from all sales on dine in or take out orders from 3 to 8 p.m. will be donated to the organization.
Silent auction
A silent auction is now underway at Jesse Smith Memorial Library with bidding to continue through noon on Saturday, Nov. 19. Visitors are invited to bid on baskets with proceeds to benefit the library.
Sample Sale
Alashan Cashmere’s annual sample sale will take place this Friday, Nov. 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 to 2 p.m. at the business at 866 Broncos Highway. Read more about the event, which features hundreds of fine clothing items at discount prices, here.
Vendor fair
Willow Grove Farm at 475 Whipple Grove Road in Pascoag will host their annual Vendor/Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature vendors and artists as well as a donation bin for Grace’s Food Pantry.
Food drive
New Rhode Nutrition at at 1452 Broncos Highway is hosting a Thanksgiving canned food drive this week. Donors will receive a ticket to enter a raffle for each canned good dropped off at the business. All donations must be received by Monday, Nov. 21.

The Burrillville Recreation Commission will hold a meeting on Monday, Nov. 14 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Burrillville Department of Public Works Offices at 200 Clear River Drive. The agenda is here.
