It's time for stories by the campfire Saturday at North Smithfield's Spooky Spirit's Night.

Northern, RI – Autumn is northern Rhode Island’s time to shine, with everything from haunted hayrides and graveyard tours, to Halloween parties and fall festivals – and this weekend is no exception.

Welcome to The Weekend, where we round up all the fun you can find in a three-town radius, from crafting workshops, fundraisers and history lectures, to festivals, live music and karaoke.

This week’s highlights include a visit to Riverside Cemetery with the Burrillville Historical & Preservation Society on Friday, along with a chance for kids to escape from a haunted mansion at the North Smithfield Public Library.

On Saturday, it’s North Smithfield’s Spooky Spirits Night, a family-friendly evening filled with local vendors, tarot readings and ghost stories by a campfire at Goodwin Brothers Farm.

There’s GATSBY at The Assembly Theatre all weekend long, and on Sunday, visit Chepachet Meeting House for an all-Beethoven Concert featuring The Proteus String Quartet.

However you spend your time, we hope it’s packed with fall fun, and as always, we hope you consider some of our great, local venues.
