Trash delay
The Burrillville Department of Public Works is reminding residents that trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day this week following the Columbus Day holiday. Questions can be directed to Refuse & Recycling at (401) 568-4440 ext. 12.
Calendar fundraiser
Tickets are now on sale for Cub Scout Pack 102’s November Calendar fundraiser with prizes to be given out every day of the month including gift cards to local business. Calendars cost $10 and all proceeds will benefit the pack. Drawings start on Tuesday, Nov 1. To purchase a calendar message Maeghan Falco.
Fall Fling
Wright’s Farm Gift Shop will hold its annual Fall Fling celebration on Friday, Oct. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the restaurant at 84 Inman Road. The event will include raffles, discounts, wine, light refreshments and the chance to win prizes.
Halloween bazaar
The Burrillville Historical & Preservation Society will be holding a Halloween Bazaar on Saturday, Oct 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bridgeton School, 16 Laurel Hill Ave. in Pascoag. The event will feature a Halloween penny social, spooky baked goods, indoor yard sale, and book sale. Information on Burrillville cemeteries will also be available. Donations are welcome.
