Story time
The Glocester libraries’ story time program has openings for toddlers and preschoolers in sessions that begin this week.
Toddler Story Time is open to children ages 2 to 3½ and their caregivers, featuring songs, rhymes, stories, music, and playtime, every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., at the Harmony Library at 195 Putnam Pike, and Friday, at 10:30 a.m., at the Glocester Manton Library at 1137 Putnam Pike.
Preschooler Story Time, for ages 3½ to 5, will enjoy stories, music, rhymes, and a craft each week. Children will attend each session independently while their caregivers remain in the library, on Wednesdays, at 11 a.m., at the Glocester Manton Library, and on Thursdays, at 11 a.m., at the Harmony Library.

Prepare for Candlelight
The team planning the annual Candlelight Shopping events in Chepachet will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and is inviting others to join in helping to make this year a success. All are invited to attend the gathering starting at 6 p.m. at The Hen House at 1189 Putnam Pike.
The meeting will be held on the second floor and attendees should use the back door.
Seeking EMS providers
The Harmony Fire District is looking for qualified and passionate EMS providers of all levels to join the department. HFD strives to bring the best patient care to the community and prepares to do so through various trainings and classes, according to a post on the open spots.

Unicorn crafts
Sundance Stables at 164 Old Snake Road will host a crafting event on Saturday, Sept. 24 making unicorn ring dishes starting at 4 p.m. The event is open to all ages but space is limited and paid reservations costing $40 are required to hold space. Message the stables here for PayPal instructions.
The craft should take less then two hours to complete.

The Glocester Zoning Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 22 has been cancelled. The board is scheduled to hold its next meeting on Thursday, Oct. 27.
