BURRILLVILLE – A Burrillville teen is facing felony charges following a report on an incident the took place at the Burrillville skate park on Chapel Street in May.
The 17-year-old was arrested on Saturday, June 23, and charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault.
According to police, the victim was a 15-year-old female also from Burrillville. The incident, which occurred at the park a few days earlier, was first reported on Thursday, May 26.
The case has been referred to family court.

On July 5 at 7:02 a.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Alan J. Paradise, 43, of 39 Ladds Lane, Dayville, Conn. as the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by members of the department. Paradise was charged with duty to stop, accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle, and driving after suspension/revocation/denial of license for certain violations. Paradise was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On July 7, at 11:49 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested a 16-year-old juvenile. The juvenile was charged with simple assault or battery, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, and resisting legal or illegal arrest. The juvenile will reportedly be referred to the RI Family Court at a later date.
On July 8, at 10:17 a.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Robert P. Beauparlant, Jr., 38, of 210 Joslin Road, Glendale. Beauparlant was charged with Providing False info to 911. Beauparlant faced similar charges back in April, for which he ultimately served a 10 day sentence, and required to make a $200 contribution to the Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition. The new charges are considered a probation violation, and Beauparlant was brought to the 6th District Court for his arraignment and held without bail.
