Two for the Road will perform at a Pride Party at Power's Pub Friday night.

Northern, RI – Summer is in full swing in northern Rhode Island, and with it comes a lineup of weekend events suited to every taste, right here in our community.

Celebrate the end of the school year on Thursday with outdoor games and treats at Jesse Smith Memorial Library or head over to Bravo Brewing Company for Trivia Night.

If you’re feeling crafty, Friday is Ladies’ Night at The Creative Room, or you can spend the evening learning about the area’s abandoned roads and trails at a free event with the North Smithfield Heritage Association.

Hit up the Burrillville Farmer’s Market and the Glocester Heritage Association yard sale on Saturday, or celebrate Family Fun Day with North Smithfield Little League. Start your 4th of July celebration early Saturday night with fireworks and live music at Glocester Memorial Park, or catch a free comedy night at Toti’s Tavern.

Catch live music every night, or celebrate the start of the summer season with a dance party at Spritzer’s. Join Slatersville Scouts for a Bike Rodeo Sunday afternoon then head over to Hill’s Tavern to catch The Nurse’s album release party.

It’s all in a three-town radius, so it won’t even use up a full tank of gas.

However you spend your this weekend, we hope you enjoy it, and find the time to check out some of these great local stops and activities.
