The weekend is arriving, and with it, events ranging from art shows and live entertainment, to farmer’s markets and trivia nights. Whatever you’re into, there’s guaranteed to be something to do this weekend right here in northern Rhode Island.
Are you a knitting fan? Join some hens and work your craft outdoors Saturday for Knit in Public Day. Venues are open for plenty of both outdoor and indoor music this weekend, including Johnny’s Victory Diner, Lindy’s Tavern and Hill’s.
Is classical music more your style? Grace Note Farm’s Chamber Music Festival continues this weekend with shows on Saturday and Sunday.
For those who prefer more active – and competitive – leisure, swing by Chapman’s Food & Drink for a Friday night drop in cornhole tournament. Stop by Cady’s Tavern for a bike show Friday night, or let your tastebuds do the work at a hot sauce tasting Saturday – or a chili cook-off Sunday.
This week, bring the family for a night out at Wright’s Dairy Farm. Pet the cows and enjoy live music, seafood and ice cream at the first time event, scheduled to take place once a month for the rest of the summer.
