GLOCESTER – The Rhode Island Lottery has announced that a man from Chepachet claimed a $30,000 prize on an instant ticket this week.
The win was the final outstanding top prize from Rhode Island Lottery’s “Holiday Gold Rush,” ticket.
He reportedly purchased the winning ticket at Putnam Pike Liquors at 637 Putnam Pike in Greenville.
The winner told lottery officials that he will pay his taxes with the money and save the rest.
