BURRILLVILLE – A woman from Burrillville died following a two-car accident in Woonsocket on Tuesday. May 3.
Christina Perez, 58, of Burrillville was pronounced dead at Landmark Medical Center following a crash in the area of Harris Avenue and Verry Street around noon.
Perez was the driver of one vehicle and her passenger, a 20-year-old woman, was brought to Rhode Island Hospital, where she is still being treated.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and have released few details, noting only that one of the vehicles was traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 25-year-old female, was also transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
