Northern, RI – Welcome to “The Weekend,” where each week we take a look at the entertainment and events going on right here in our small towns.
This week, we have a pile of snow coming in Friday morning, but it shouldn’t interfere with your Thursday night plans. And as for Friday? With snow ending by the afternoon, we’re hopeful it will be time to bundle up and hit the streets by early evening. This is New England, after all.
Watch for this feature every Thursday, as we pull together a list of local entertainment so you can get a head start on the fun. We also try to keep up with the local artists hailing from our communities, and let you know when and where they’ll be performing each week. This week, we’ve stretched our boundaries out to neighboring Smithfield, for a look at some of what’s happening there.
