Trash on schedule
Despite a storm that managed to dump a new layer of snow on the region by Monday, Feb. 14, trash and recycling pickup will go on as scheduled according to Trash & Recycling Coordinator Andrea Hall. Residents are advised to place bins outside on their normal day, clearing a three foot radius around the containers for the pickup arm.

School survey

Brody for Favorite Pet
A Burrillville cat in the running for America’s Favorite Pet is currently in third place, and her owner is seeking the public’s help to push her to number one. Brody, an attractive feline adopted by resident Michelle Bonanno will make it to the next round of voting as long as he places in the top 15 among his group of 35.
“Bright Eyed Brody captures the hearts of anyone he meets,” notes her entry in the competition, which supports animal rehabilitation and recovery through the PAWS Foundation. “Brody is very special to me. When I had kitten fever I stumbled on a picture of him up for adoption. I couldn’t resist! He brought new life to my older cat & has formed the sweetest bond with my newest addition.”
Locals can help out by voting for Brody once every 24 hours here, with 10 votes purchased for $10.
Lacrosse sign ups
Registration is now open for Burrillville Youth Lacrosse for the 2022 season scheduled to begin during the first week of April. To secure a spot on the team for spring, visit the BYLAX website at http://www.bylax.uslaxteams.com/.
