NORTH SMITHFIELD – Roads were quiet on Friday morning during a storm that dumped more than ten inches of snow on the region. Most residents, it seemed, slept in while crews from the Department of Public Works cleared the mess.
A winter storm warning is in effect until 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7.
