Vendors wanted for community yard sale
Patrons of the Assembly Theatre will host a community yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 2 and have limited space still remaining for vendors. The event will be held at the theater from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vendors can reserve to 10x 10 spot at the event for $20 here, with setup to begin at 7 a.m.
Join the scouts
Pack 102 and Troop 102 Mapleville are looking for new members to join the Boys Scouts and Cub Scouts. Sign ups will be held on Wednesdays, Sept. 22 and Sept. 29 at Our Lady of Good Help Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. For more information contact Daniel Esposito at victorysupplyri@gmail.com.
Comedy fundraiser
Head back to the Assembly at 6 p.m. for a comedy fundraiser to help with the Burrillville Land Trust’s effort to save Sweet’s Hill. Tickets cost $20/person for the event to be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and can be purchased here.

Return of the Sunshine Club
The Burrillville Sunshine Club is seeking volunteers to join them for one hour on one Monday every month at the Burrillville Community Recreation Center at 50 Lodge Road. The group makes birthday keepsakes for residents at Zambarano Hospital, Overlook Nursing Home, Bayberry Commons and Crystal Lake Nursing & Rehab Center. All supplies are provided.
