Two men transported by rescue following crash in Burrillville Saturday morning

BURRILLVILLE – Two men were transported by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital following on crash in Burrillville Saturday morning that left both with minor injuries.

A motorcycle collided with a second vehicle around 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 by the intersection of River and Chapel Streets, according to police.

The drivers, identified as Zachary Lawton, 19, and Joshua Gavlik, 26, both of Burrillville, were reported to be conscious and alert when police arrived, and were brought by rescue for evaluation.

The injuries were minor, and there were no passengers for either vehicle, according to Burrillville Police Major Albert Carlow.

The accident remains under investigation by the Burrillville Police Department.
