Sunday cartoon: Be your own safety artist

BURRILLVILLE – This week, we feature a message – and a challenge – for the children with the cartoon of the week.

Hi Kids! Can you draw Buckleupallofus on this Cruisin’ Safety Coloring Cartoon Poster and then color everything in to help remind your family and friends to always wear seatbelts when driving and riding in cars and trucks?

You can draw Bucky next to any of these three cool classic vehicles and write the words; Buckle Up! inside a voice box just like cartoonists do when they create their own cartoons just like I do all of the time for kids to color in and display on the family refrigerators and bedroom walls in their own homes.

You can become a cartoonist too! If you are new to this website and need to see what Bucky looks like, you can visit Sunday Cartoons on this website with your parents and print out one of those kids safety coloring cartoons and use it as a visual reference to help you draw Bucky. You can even trace him if you want to do that and then color the entire page in with your favorite crayons or markers. Some kids even show me their water colors and chalk colorings at car shows and cruise nights that I attend and showcase the giant Bucky balloon during the cruisin’ season from this website that look great.

Be creative! Have fun! And remember to always Boost Up! and Buckle Up!
