BURRILLVILLE- A 30-year-old Burrillville woman was transported from the scene with minor injuries following a rollover accident early Saturday morning.
According to Burrillville Police Lt. Jason Eddy, officers were called to the 1600 Block of Broncos Highway for a report of an accident around 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 1. They were met by the woman, a resident of Wallum Lake Road, who said her vehicle had struck one of the utility poles supporting a guide wire.
She was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with apparent minor injuries. Eddy said the vehicle had to be towed from the scene by George’s Towing, and both National Grid, and Verizon were notified.
