Police release photo, video of alleged Burrillville bank robber

BURRILLVILLE – Police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending the suspect who robbed a Pascoag bank Tuesday morning.

The Burrillville Police Department released images of surveillance footage footage from Rhode Island Credit Union at 60 N. Main St. on Wednesday.

The armed robbery took took place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

“The suspect is a white male who displayed a handgun and wore a mask and gloves throughout the robbery,” said Col. Stephen Lynch in a statement. “The suspect fled on foot from the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.”

The Burrillville Police were reportedly assisted in the investigation by the Rhode Island State Police Crime Scene Unit and also by Glocester police, who responded to assist in an initial search of the area for the fleeing suspect.

Anyone with information relative to the incident is asked to contact the Burrillville Police Detective Division at 568-6255.
