The Burrillville Conservation Commission is notifying hikers and walkers that the Nipmuc Trail on Round Top Road will not be available for the activity for the period from Sunday, Nov. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 31.
Hunting on the property will be allowed with written permission from the Burrillville Town Clerk’s office.
The purchase of this property was in part the result of public funding. According to Richard Dionne, chairman of the Conservation Commission, the policy of hunting only during this period is fair and equitable to all citizens. Signage will be posted in appropriate locations.
