Vigil for Breonna Taylor
In Woonsocket, the Woonsocket Alliance to Champion Hope has set up a vigil for Breonna Taylor dubbed #SayHerName on Friday, Sept. 25 from 5 to 6 p.m. at River Island Park. Attendees are asked to bring flameless candles and/or flowers if possible.
Brian James Soul Jazz
The latest band in the Levitt AMP Millrace Music Series, Brian James Soul Jazz, is schedule to play a free concert at River Island Park starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.
At the drive-in
At the Rustic Drive-In, Tenet and Annabelle will be playing on Screen 1 this weekend with gates opening at 6 p.m. Friday night, and IT and IT Chapter 2 on Screen 2. Screen 3 will have Boss Baby followed by Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back. On Saturday night, the drive-in on Eddie Dowling Highway is closed for a private event, but gates will reopen on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Shermer High
The Last Resort in Smithfield will host a “safe, socially distant flashback to the 80s,” on Friday from 8 to 11:30 p.m. with Shermer High. The 80s tribute band will play classic favorites with rock, pop, hairband and new wave music.
Wojcik’s Apple Picking & Corn Maze
Wojcik’s Farm at 65 Milk St. in Blackstone, Mass. is open for the season with cider donuts, apple picking, a corn maze, wagon rides and other seasonal treats. Hours are Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This Sunday, a tractor parade will take place at the neighboring Daniels Farmstead starting at 1 p.m.
Pumpkin Painting and Caramel Apple Bar- Sold Out
San Diego Sunday’s will host a fall-themed event this weekend with pumpkin painting and while the event is sold out, registration for their next event is now open.
The business at 200 Main St. in Blackstone, Mass. will host their next event on October 24 from 2-4 p.m. Registration is required, costs $15 and comes with a pumpkin and painting supplies.

Sunday Farmer’s Market
Eat Drink RI and Blackbird Farm host a local farmers market at the Farm Stand on Smithfield on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The 2020 farmers market will takes place every Sunday through October 11.
