NORTH SMITHFIELD – The North Smithfield Heritage Association has announced that they are forced to once again postpone their NS Heritage Gala due ongoing COVID 19 restrictions.
The new date for the event is May 22, 2021 at the Village Haven.
“We hope this allows enough time for a new vaccine to eradicate the virus,” noted NSHA President Richard Keene.
Current dinner tickets for the event are no longer valid. The NSHA will sell new tickets next year. Ticket holders may request reimbursement or allow the NSHA to keep the proceeds as a tax-deductible donation. Proceeds will fund the groups on-going historic preservation activities.
Donors may send an email message to nsha@nsheritageassn.com indicating their decision. To receive an acknowledgment letter that supports an IRS tax deduction, donors should include their mailing address.
Ticket holders who want a full or partial reimbursement, can mail tickets to the NS Heritage Assn, P.O. Box 413, Slatersville, RI 02876. The NSHA will mail a reimbursement check. Provide a name for the payable line and a return mailing address.
