Welcome to the fire house

A shout out to North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Services for a video released this week as a way to connect with local students.

North Smithfield Elementary School Principal Jennifer Daigneault appears in the 8-minute production, which includes a tour of the St. Paul Street fire house set to the song “Welcome to My House,” and segment where firefighters dance in full gear.

The idea came about as a way to reconnect with kids during the pandemic, in place of “High Five Fridays,” when the firefighters normally visit the school to wish them well at the start of the weekend.

Try not to dance along to the complete video, shared below.
