Ninja warriors

Mastery Martial Arts will host a 2-hour party starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 to include pizza, ninja training and an obstacle courses. Parents are invited to drop off the kids or just hang out during the event, which costs $20, or $15 if kids bring a friend.

Clean Squad

North Smithfield Public Library will host a teen volunteer opportunity on Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m., where youth ages 13-18 are invited to earn up to an hour of volunteer time by cleaning the library. Tasks include dusting, window washing, cleaning computers and more.

Jay Ferg

Tavern 6 two 1 will host Pascoag-based singer and guitarist Jay Ferg Saturday night from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Join Ferg for food, drinks, and an acoustic mix of classic and modern rock, folk, country and pop.

Eagle Scout

Troop 1139 Slatersville has announced that Cole Skinner of North Smithfield has earned his Eagle Scout rank as the 72nd Eagle Scout of the troop.

For his Eagle Scout project, Skinner made improvements to the baseball facilities at North Smithfield Middle/High School.

Coffee after hours

The Rhode Island Chapter of the Association for Persons Supporting Employment First will host a networking event at Red, White & Brew on Great Road on Monday from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Celebrate the success of proprietor Michael Coyne and engage in conversation regarding the employment of people with disabilities. The event is open to the public.
