BURRILLVILLE – To celebrate a successful summer reading program at Jesse Smith Memorial Library, dozens of families enjoyed entertainment by R.I. Bucket Drummers on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Librarians had told patrons that if more than 200 participants completed the program this year, they would get covered in slime. The program was finished by 320 participants, and the event concluded with green goop dumped over the heads of three staff members.
