Help needed: Assembly Theatre

The Patrons of the Assembly Theatre, a nonprofit group formed by the theater’s Board of Administration, currently needs new members. The group assists with operation and management of the community theater with monthly meetings to plan for events, scheduling, advertising, promotion, entertainment choices, fundraising and sponsorships.

Volunteer applications are available on the town’s main website page under “Forms & Documents”; also at the Burrillville Town Hall in the office of the Executive Assistant, or at the Board of Administration’s Office, located in the Legion Hall next door to the Town Hall, rear parking lot. Applications may be sent by email to: boa@burrillville.org or by mail to: Board of Administration, PO Box 502, Harrisville, RI 02830.

The theater will host a Creature Double Feature on Saturday, Oct. 13 beginning at 7 p.m. with “Monsters Inc.,” followed by “Corpse Bride” at 9 p.m. The donation is $5 and tickets are available at the door.
