Northern, RI – Welcome to The Weekend, your weekly guide to all the fun you can find in our three-town radius.

This week, there are still plenty of chances to find a great gift for mom – or schedule some time together this weekend – with Mother’s Day shopping events and activities taking place across northern Rhode Island. Several groups are also hosting plant sales, and while we haven’t listed private yard sales, large scale events and sales run for a charity have been published below.

At Lindy’s Plastic Palace, Ron’s Pizza & Seafood officially opened this week, and The Island will start Saturday off with a community yard sale, followed by their first outdoor concert of the season that night.

As we move into warmer weather, we hope you enjoy your free time and as always, consider a stop with these great local organizations and venues.
