Paint your partner
Dev’s Tavern at 341 Chapel St. will host “Paint your partner,” on Tuesday, April 23 starting at 7 p.m. a paint and sip event. Participants can bring their bestie, cousin, sister or husband for the painting event at a cost of $40 per couple. Spots are limited and painters are instructed to contact the bar to reserve a seat.
Nesting box workshop
The Burrillville Land Trust will host a Blue Bird nesting box workshop on Thursday, April 25 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Jesse Smith Memorial Library at 100 Tinkham Lane. Visitors will learn how and where to place a bird box, and have a chance to win their own. All are welcome to the free event.
Pre-prom dinner
The Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition will hold its annual Pre Prom Dinner for Burrillville High School seniors on Thursday, April 25 starting at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school at 425 East Ave. The free event will feature a pasta dinner from Serio’s and presentation by Rebecca Tinkham, and students must bring a trusted adult to attend. Spring Pop Up market
The Burrillville Farmer’s Market will hold a a Spring Pop Up Market at Bravo Brewing Company at 75 Pascoag Main St. on Saturday, April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will feature baked goods, artisanal items, fresh meats and more, with live music by The Tom White Trio Band.
Closing
Chum’s Electro & Hardware Shop at 66 Pascoag Main St. will be permanently closing its doors on Saturday, April 27 after 74 years in business. Stop by this week to wish owner Ralph a happy retirement and enjoy 50 percent off all remaining stock.
