In order to fund its on-going historic preservation activities, The North Smithfield Heritage Association will hold a public Facebook Auction each week during the month of August beginning Saturday, Aug. 1.
Bidders can simply join the NS Heritage Auction group on the NS Heritage Assn Facebook Page. Once a bidder joins the page, they will receive notifications of all bids. Each Saturday, the auction committee will post a picture and a description of each item. Bidders may post their bid in the comment section.
The highest bidder may pay C.O.D., by check or by PayPal. The pickup date is Saturday, August 29 at Elaine’s Flowers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Buyers may also make special arrangements for shipping or local delivery for an additional shipping and handling cost.
Since this is a fundraiser, the committee encourages the public to bid freely.
