On behalf of all the members and staff of the North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Service, I would like to thank the residents of North Smithfield for the outpouring of support during these difficult times. A special thank you to our local business community as well: Walmart, Lucky Dog Tavern, DiSpirito Realty and Citizens Bank for all the food and disinfecting supplies; Matrix Power Services for all of the protective suits; and Show Nail Salon and KV Nails for all of the protective masks. The support this community has provided, whether it was protective equipment, cleaning supplies, food or just a thank you, it is very much appreciated.
Uncertain times still lie ahead, but we must stay the course, stick together and keep up the fight. Remember, tough times don’t last, tough people do.
