Pack up hunger
The Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack program will host a packing session on Tuesday, March 10 starting at 10 a.m. at the Beckwith-Bruckshaw Lodge at 50 Lodge Road. Help the Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department feed local children in need by filling packs of food for students to take home over the weekends.
BHS Music in Our Schools
The Burrillville High School Music Department will host its annual Music in our Schools Concert and Senior Showcase on Tuesday, March 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the school. The suggested donation is $4 per person and a maximum of $10 per family.
Variety show
The Burrillville Schools Alumni Education Foundation will hold a variety show, with entertainment from musicians, dancers and more in the Burrillville Middle School auditorium on Thursday, March 12, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. show. The organization raises funds for student scholarships and teacher grants for the district.
The event will include raffles and a door prize, and tickets cost $10 for adults or $5 for children under 10.
Disability Awareness Training
Pascoag Public Library will host disability awareness training for Boy Scout merit badges on Thursday, March 12 starting at 6:30 p.m. Any BSA Scout or any girls ages 11 to 18 interested in joining the BSA troop are welcome to attend. Scouts that attended a previous session on March 5 as well will receive a signed blue card and merit badge. The program is free, but registration is required.
Travel presentation
The Burrillville Historic & Preservation Society will host a free travel presentation on Thursday, March 12 at Harmony Lodge for their planned 15-day trip to France scheduled for October. Learn about their upcoming presentation with Collette Tours and decide if you’d like to join them.

Town meetings
The Burrillville Town Council will hold a special meeting/site visit on Tuesday, March 10 starting at 4 p.m. at the Burrillville Town Building. The board will visit various town streets and highways, and inspect vehicles and other potential capital budget items.
