BPAC fundraiser

Johnny’s Victory Diner will hold a fundraiser tonight, Friday, Feb. 21, for the Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mention the fundraiser before your meal and a portion of the proceeds will go toward the organization.

Job fair

Crystal Lake Golf Club at 100 Broncos Highway is looking to hire several part-time employees for the upcoming season and will hold a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 22 from noon to 4 p.m.

The club is looking for function waitstaff, tavern waitstaff, bartenders, dish washers and line cooks. Fill out an application, then speak with management about open positions.

String art

Visit Jesse Smith Memorial Library anytime before Saturday, Feb. 29 to contribute to a community art project.

Add a few loops of string to the ongoing piece, designed with the idea that guests can create something beautiful together despite their differences.

Cheerleader competition

Join the Burrillville High School Cheerleaders on Sunday, Feb. 23 for the first Battle in Burrillville Invitational. Visit local vendors and watch high school and middle school teams compete. Doors at the event at Burrillville High School will open at 12:30 p.m., with the competition to begin at 1 p.m.

Tickets cost  $7 per person or $5 for seniors, students, and children 12 and under. Children 3 and under are free.

ReLeaf party

CBD ReLeaf in Pascoag will host a Pampered Chef “Releaf party,” on Sunday, Feb. 23 starting at 4 p.m. The business will be making CBD-infused fruit smoothies and showing off products for sale from both parties.

The event will include a drawing to win a free 20 pack of KOI brand gummies.
