BURRILLVILLE – A snow storm set to hit the region Sunday night has delayed school and municipal activities scheduled for Monday, March 4.
Burrillville Public Schools will be closed on Monday due to winter weather, expected to dump between 7 to 11 inches of snow on the region, with locally higher amounts of up to a foot, between 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.
A parking ban is in effect in town through noon tomorrow, and trash and recycling pickup will be postponed for one day for the remainder of the week. Residents are asked not to put their carts curbside until Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. so they are out of the way of plow trucks.
